We have an innovative in-house engineering staff covering mechanical, electrical, and software design. We also have experience in industrial design and do most of our own production engineering.
Additionally, we rely on a number of outside trusted design associates and vendors to assist us with workload, research, and expertise as required. We understand that working across teams is essential to project success.
Electrical
Our in-house electrical design capabilities bring research-and-development efforts to fruition in mass produced systems. We specialize in both digital and analog subsystems, and in conjunction with our software development team, have a long history in the full design and development of real time

Electrical development and design export is performed with Cadence OrCAD Capture and Allegro PCB Designer. We utilize both in-house and contract manufactured assembly methods for design prototyping and mass produced solutions, and develop a wide variety of tooling solutions for our production facility.
Mechanical
In the field of mechanical design and engineering, our primary drafting tool is SOLIDWORKS® 3D CAD. We extend our capabilities with SOLIDWORKS® Simulation and
SOLIDWORKS® Flow Simulation packages to aid in design optimization and risk assessment. SOLIDWORKS® Motion and SOLIDWORKS® PhotoView 360 serve as communication aids with vendors and customers.

We prototype models, validate designs, and produce fixtures with our in-house STRATASYS® 3-D FDM printer and our in-house TORMACH 3-axis CNC milling machine. Both of these tools are useful for production jig & tool fabrication.
Software
We have talented software engineers with over 60 man-years of experience. Our primary competency is in the development of firmware systems. We manage GNU-based toolchains and build environments, and have expertise in traditional (C) and object-oriented (C++) development as well as hand-tuned assembly (m68k, ARM). We have experience implementing device communication over wired and wireless standards in addition to developing proprietary protocols. Our software engineers also support our production engineering needs with PC-based automation and analysis tools in C# and Python.
Our engineers utilize unit and integration testing in the verification of developed code. Our experienced and capable support staff validates firmware-driven systems to project specifications. We use version control frameworks to manage release of all firmware products.
Every year, we execute a variety of projects covering full product life cycle development and system software designs.
Customization
We have extensive experience customizing standard product to meet specific customer requirements. Although customized hardware is sometimes required, most needs are met with customized firmware. Our Applications Department is responsible for producing detailed specifications and timelines for specific projects. The applications staff works with our engineers and customers to develop a specification that balances functionality with delivery timelines and cost. We rigorously test to verify the resulting design against these specifications and work with customers to validate the product.
We have produced many native language applications for Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and North America.
